How is the price of the electricity I feed into the grid calculated?
The amount you receive for your feed-in production is calculated once a month, based on the total volume transmitted to us by Enedis.
The formula is as follows:
Price of electricity fed into the grid (€/month)
= (Weighted EPEX Spot Day-Ahead price / kWh – €0.005) × volume fed into the grid
As Enedis does not provide us with hourly production data, but only a total monthly volume, we cannot accurately associate each kWh produced with an hourly price.
To get as close as possible to a “dynamic” system, we use a standard Enedis solar producer profile to calculate a weighted average price representative of the month.
This weighted price is then applied to your monthly injected volume.
