How does Smart Pool work?
Smart Pool controls your pool pump via a smart plug (Shelly or Tapo). By switching this smart plug on or off, we determine when your pump runs. Depending on how your installation is connected (in series or parallel), this means we either control only the pump (filtration), or both filtration and heating at the same time. We optimize the use of your pump based on prices on various energy markets. This way, your pump mainly runs during cheap moments or when there is a surplus of energy, while we make sure your pool stays sufficiently filtered.
