How are costs and savings calculated?

The costs are an estimate of the actual expenses, calculated from the measured kWh and the “all-inclusive” market prices. The savings represent a comparison between the cost of an uncontrolled charging session and an optimised charging session on the EPEX Spot market. It is important to note that both the costs and savings are estimates and do not represent the exact amounts you pay.

We use estimates because some market components are only known a few days or weeks later.

You only pay for the volumes measured through your smart meter, exactly as you would expect from us.
